While the stock turbo transmission is often considered a weak point we have found when filled with quality fluid they can live long healthy lives even when bolted to 500hp engines. However if you are one of the unlucky ones who has worn synchros or an otherwise damaged transmission it can ruin your MR2 driving experience. We offer rebuilt 91-92 turbo transmissions for $600 exchange. There is a $550 core charge that will be refunded when we receive your rebuildable transmission. For 93+ MR2 turbo transmissions Toyota has discontinued the availability of individual synchronizers. Expect to pay dearly for gear sub assemblies. If you have a worn 93+ turbo transmission we can source a new Toyota gearbox with LSD for $1900. Note if you do not have OEM LSD you will require ATS LSD adaptor kit for $180
