Scott's Orange 91 Turbo MR2

 

Scott's latest MR2 was built with daily driving in mind, not peak HP. Although with the simple change of a turbocharger and fuel system it can easily handle 800HP. The intake manifold and trunk mount intercooler are overkill for the current power level, but Scott has wanted to build this set-up for years. So he did. 

 

Body:

·         Autopower 4-Point Rollbar (painted body color)

·         JDM steering wheel (no airbag)

 

 

Instrumentation/Electronics:

 

·         Greddy 52mm 1.5 bar boost gauge on steering column

·         Greddy 52mm EGT gauge on steering column

·         Blitz Dual turbo timer

·         100 AMP Alternator

 

Engine Management:

 

·         Autronic SMC ECU v1.99 Auto tune, flat shif, Antilag, and Launch control

ECU is configured for an automatic Launch control W/anti-lag activated by the clutch switch and turned off by TPS

·         HKS EVC IV for up to 2.0 bar (30 psi) of boost control

·         Engine bay fusebox relocated to trunk, and all harnesses stripped down to the essentials

·         MSD Blaster coil and 6AL Ignition system

·         2.2L Stroker by ATS

·         5SFE block and crank

·         Wiseco  pistons 87.5mm total bore

·         Balanced, Blueprinted, etc

·         Gen 3 head with Ferrea 1mm O.S. intake valves, Ferrea stock size exhaust valves

·         65mm Throttle Body

·         Trunk Mount Intercooler

·         Straight runner Intake Manifold with plenum in trunk powercoated black chrome

·         TTE MLS head gasket modified for gen 3 head

·         Walbro 255LPH In-tank Fuel pump

·         ATS top feed fuel rail Anodized Orange

·         120lb/hr top feed injectors

·        All fuel lines and PCV hoses are Earls Pro-lite350 with Earls AN fittings anodized orange
